THE EXPERIENCE

A trip to Santorini is not complete without a boat trip!  Catch the boat departing from Aktori (also the site of a Minoan excavation) to visit beaches best reached by the water - Red Beach, White Beach and black beaches.

View the stunning cliffs in ever-changing hues created by centuries of volcanic activity. Swim and snorkel in the crystal clear water.

The walk from Imerovigli to Oia is a fantastic daytime outing. Experience the beautiful scenery of the caldera and various churches along the way. Oia itself is well know for its Venetian castle which is a popular spot to view the sunset. Below Oia lies the harbour of Ammoudi Bay - which can be reached by stairs from Oia or by car. A gorgeous place for lunch or dinner during sunset, right on the waters edge. Bus services depart regularly for the trip back to Imerovigli from Oia.

Check out the carved sand cliffs and beautiful sandy shores of Vlychada beach near the yacht harbour - the beach frequented mostly by the locals. Perissa and Perivolous beaches  - both black sand beaches offer more options of beach clubs, bars as well as traditional tavernas and up-market restaurants. For a more family oriented beach - go to Kamari - great swimming and plenty of souvenir shopping alternatives.

…and there are great wine cellars that can be visited - from one end of the island to to other.

We are happy to provide recommendations...
